reason for name for her snowy pelt, (orchid)
appearance descriptionorchidpaw is the kind of cat that has a little bit of everything. her build wouldn't be described as exceptionally muscular, though it doesn't provide her with more speed than the average cat, either. she's a decent opponent in a fight, and she's equally decent at fleeing, though it's not something she makes a habit out of.
her pelt is the white of snow, which brings out her deep green eyes. her fur is of medium length, not necessarily short, but still not long enough to require a lot of effort in order to be presentable. the she-cat is rather proud of her appearance, and she makes sure others know that as well.
quirks
- finds joy in displaying a passive aggressive attitude.
- has a lot of confidence in herself, and refuses to allow others to define her. however, that confidence relies heavily on the knowledge that those she cares about return her affection.
- she will relish the humiliation of others, if only to have her own ego stroked.
- although she likes taking risks, be they dumb or not, she's more sensible than she looks.
- absolutely terrified of failing to live up to her reputation.
- she's got a wild imagination, and will not hesitate to make things up in order to impress another cat.
- very aspirational, and dreams of being a leader one day.
personalityorchidpaw's primary personality aspect would be her cheerfulness, the kind that makes a cat seem approachable. however, the fact that she's friendly and open with the majority of her acquaintances does not imply that she puts out a good attitude simply because she wants to make others happy, even though she often attempts to make it look like that. orchidpaw's first priority is pleasing herself, and if a cat's friendship is not in her best interests, she will not hesitate to reject it.
being accepted by her clanmates is a very big deal to this ambitious she-cat, and she's not beneath conjuring up lies in order to make herself likeable. though young, she makes an effort to be noticed by the older warriors, especially those she believes to have the biggest influence amongst their clanmates. desperate to be chosen for the deputy's position one day in order to eventually lead her clan, she's already focused on working her way up having all of her clanmates' support.
the fact that orchidpaw almost always puts out a fake version of herself that is shinier, smarter, and more confident, does take its toll. having made this 'alter ego' part of her daily life, this she-cat is terrified by the idea of truly getting close to another, to the point of having to be honest about her true feelings, and of having to show that other potential cat her true self.

experienceborn to (GOD dAMNIT IT LILY idk who her parents are laughs), orchidpaw spent a rather uneventful kithood being part of tempestclan, along with her sister, ivypaw, and her older brother, stonestrike. as moons passed by, the she-cat has taken more and more interest forcing her sister to live in orchidpaw's shadow. though it was once a joke the two could laugh about, upon becoming a paw and setting off on her path to becoming clan deputy like she's always dreamed out, orchidpaw has convinced herself that she's better than her sister, and demands to be treated as such.
