appearance descriptionAn elderly tom with still a shiny pelt. He is missing fur on his left leg, due to an old battle scar. He is medium size with gentle green eyes.

Can be grumpy to warriors, besides Pinewhisker.
When not in a bad mood, he is a friendly tom.
Adventurous, hates being stuck in camp and will leave to stretch.
Fears: Clan finding out about him having a daughter in Vertigoclan.
personalityNightshade has always been among one of the friendliest cats since his kitting many many moons ago. He never really changed on that, unless the weather is rainy or cold then his joints ache and can be quite snappy, but not to Pinewhisker. His son is the one cat he would never snap at. He respects him and is quite proud of him, even before he was made deputy.
The tom used to be a fighter and quick tempered when he was a young warrior, but once he found his mate and had kits his temper cooled. He became a dependable father to his kit. His love for his family made him lose the need to go into every battle.
As an elder he loves kits and young cats still. He loves being able to tell them his stories and have them listen to them. He likes being able to visit the nursery and check on the kits. Since he is also new in the elders den, he will show apprentices old battle moves.

experienceFrom kithood Nightkit was adventurous, maybe too much for his own good. He was never mean or rude to others. He was friendly and always had a smile upon his black maw. As an apprentice it was much the same.
When he became a warrior he was too friendly to a certain she-cat name Firefly in Vertigoclan as well as Dovefeather in Tempestclan. He soon became mates to both cats. When Dovefeather told him she was pregnant he ended things with Firefly. He wanted to be there for his kits in Tempestclan.
Sadly when he turn Firefly she told him she was pregnant as well and that these kits would never know their father. She left in a huff. He never spoke with her after that. He went back to Dovefeather and told her the truth. She clawed at him and hissed, but allowed him back in.
Soon Pinekit was born and he did everything he could to help his son as he watched his daughter grow up not knowing him. As moons passed he watched his son become a warrior the clan could be proud of and then a deputy.
Only two moons ago did he join the elders.
