appearance description

Unlike his long-furred, fluffy brother, Scorchkit’s short tabby pelt is a mixture of black and dark grays.   Right now, he doesn’t really put much effort into keeping it clean, so there’s usually bits of moss clinging to his coat until another cat points it out.   His tail is short, even for a kitten, and his eyes are pale orange.

personality

Despite his innocent appearance, Scorchkit is not the sort of cat that should be left to his own devices.   The little devil loves stirring things up and pulling pranks of all sorts, from hiding beetles in the freshkill pile to putting pebbles in his denmates’ nests.  It certainly doesn't help that he hardly ever stays quiet for long. When you haven’t heard from him in a while, it’s best to check up on him to make sure he isn’t off causing a ruckus.   But even when he does get into trouble (which is often) no one can seem to stay angry with him for long.  Scorchkit is also very stubborn and doesn’t like to accept assistance from others. He only grudgingly lets his own family help him out as it is, preferring to do things for himself.  The little tom is untrusting of others, perhaps due to his heritage.  His Clan may have no problem with it, but he worries they may have doubts concerning his loyalty.  Scorchkit’s main focus is to become the greatest warrior any Clan has ever seen.

He may be young, but Scorchkit already seems to have an eye out for pretty she-cats and toms alike. Not that he really means it; he’s just copying what he’s seen other toms do around she-cats.   Even so, this young cat is quite the smooth operator.  His vocabulary and store of suave pick-up lines grows larger every day.
