reason for name otter - grey and brown coloring ; splash - flowing personality
appearance descriptionwhen you think of an otter, you think the classic brown, right? well there's also silver otters. this lucky little femme cat got the best of both worlds, and is an alluring marble blend of both a pale grey and a deep brown. her ears are the darkest brown of her pelt, although they still look as though you're looking at them through frost-tinted glass. there are some light black swirls mixed into her marble pelt, and the darkest part is a deep grey at the tip of her tail. being a tabby, though not generally recognized, she has the typical tabby marking on her forehead, although it's faded and not generally noticed. her nose is a dark pink, which sometimes stands out against the light contrast of her face.
her build is definitely lithe; with long lanky legs but a small, compact length and width. she's a bit smaller than most cats, but not by much. her paws are tiny and her ears are large, which you think might look odd, but they balance out to make her look extremely well proportioned. her tail is longer than average, and a bit fluffier than the rest of her pelt, which is surprisingly long for a typical tabby. perhaps the most striking feature about this female are her eyes, which are a sharp, stabbing, ice blue. they don't look intimidating as much as innocent, and they've gotten her many places in life thus far.

personalityottersplash is the bubbliest cat you'll ever meet. her personality is the embodiment of summer- warm, inviting, and lovable. unfortunately, this can be taken negatively, for a lot of cats find her to be naive, and as a consequence, take advantage of her. she's easily manipulated, though at no fault of her own. she's generally very trusting, because she always tries to see the good and positive in people. she's generally classified as a pacifist, and she's always attempting to settle for peace, even when there is none to be settled for.
her friendly personality doesn't always shine through though. she's not an optimist, though she does try to see the best. sometimes life just gets to her, and when she does get into a funk, she tends to get sad about it. she has a bit of sass about her, but she doesn't enjoy using it. she'd rather fight with words, though she'd rather not fight at all. she loves to be friends with other cats, and although she's loyal to the warrior code, she's a bit flexible in her beliefs and interpretations.

experienceottersplash was born in a large litter, with three brothers and a sister, though two of the toms died young into kithood. she was extremely close with her sister, and they were both attached to their mother. their surviving brother was taken under wing by their father, who honestly didn't seem to care much about his daughters. just after her apprenticeship, both her mother and sister drowned in the flood, which led to unfortunate psychological effects on her.
