reason for name n/a - formerly spellwish.
appearance descriptionspell is really a rather pretty female, in spite of her relatively stocky size. her body is quite able and muscular though her steps and gaze are delicate and fragile. her pelt is short and silken- black as the night without so much as a silver hair to distract from its void-like darkness (even her nose, whiskers, and pads are black). her gaze is a haunting silver-blue color, though most often looks completely gray.

personalityfrom the get-go, spell has always been one to speak her mind. she is not afraid to say exactly what she is thinking, and she has always held true to this. so as a troublesome kit and apprentice, she was apt to be extremely sassy, and was used to getting her way. as the moons passed, she began to develop a flair for the dramatic, but somewhere along the line all of this faded into sorrow and solemnity. spell seems to have lost all but an inkling of her sass in favor of long, tragic mood swings that put her low and keep her there. she doesn't quite know what leads her to this sadness, but she knows that as long as she feels this way being around others is unbearable- after all, she cannot keep her feelings inside. she explodes at those she loves, and feels worthless, useless, unlovable. this, of course, is the reason she escaped clanlife for that of solitude. she felt it for the best, but she pines for those she left behind.
if spell could be somewhat healed of this sadness, one would find a rather bright she-cat. she is fiercely intelligent, and excellent at analyzing any situation for the best path (when her judgement is not clouded by emotion, of course) and loves far too hard for her own good- perhaps this is why her heart always aches. not only is she fiercely intelligent- she is straight up fierce. she will defend loved ones to the death, perhaps this goes hand in hand with how hard she loves. it is not difficult to earn spell's love, but it is not difficult to earn her hatred either. truly her heart rules over her, but with all the compassion she is made up of, its hard to say that this is a bad thing.

flamingstar - adoptive mother - helped abyssbird raise her kits (since darkfog did not want them)
chasmriver - deceased uncle - huge handsome tabby tom, abyssbird's brother
gloompaw - deceased brother - silver-speckled black tom who died of an illness
reflectedrain - old flame - handsome tabby tom with radiant eyes
experienceabyssbird had been darkfog's apprentice, and while darkfog's sweetheart neglected him, he chose to mate with the doting abyssbird who ended up pregnant with the kits he didn't want. similarly, flamingarrow's sweetheart chasmriver knocked her up though he wanted nothing to do with the subsequent kits. the two poor mothers were stuck in the nursery together, but abyssbird seemed far worse off mentally. so it was up to flamingarrow to help her through those rough moons, and then they helped raise each other's kits.
gloom was rather mean and bossy, and spell was rather sassy and spoiled. they were a delight, and learned to despise their father (and his lovely mate, neither of which ever cast an eye on the brother and sister pair). both of them tended to bully their adoptive brothers and sisters, who were slightly younger and tended to have a far better attitude.
when spellpaw was an apprentice, a wolf terrorized vertigoclan lands, and eventually ripped her mother abyssbird to shreds. while she and her friend reflectedrain were out on the territory together, they found the body- spell has never been the same since. she wanted to die, but reflectedrain supported her through those rough times, and romance was sparked. she was given the warrior name spellwish. however, things were still rocky for the young she-cat and eventually she fled the clans, unable to keep from hurting those she loved.
