personalityHallowflight is confident in what he does because he doesn’t make a point to second-guess himself. He is confident enough to trust himself, his leader, and his clanmates. He is determined to face issues and solve them into something better. He loves creating new things and he trusts that his clanmates will back him up on this. Some cats say he is too stubborn, but when he wants something, he doesn’t back down. He also gives off the vibe that he doesn’t like certain cats in the clan, which is not true at all. The problem with Hallowflight is that sometimes he can challenge cats too much. He does it out of well-being, but he wants to push his own clanmates to the best of their abilities. He doesn’t care what VertigoClan thinks about him or TempestClan. Hallowflight is also inspired by many things and uses them for new ideas. He is intrigued at loners, strays, rogues and even kittypets and the way they can live apart from the clan. He likes cats that think outside the box and he often is reminded about mates and how she-cats are attracted to him. But Hallowflight won’t mate with a cat he doesn’t believe is open-minded. He is drawn to kits and apprentices for their energy is always amusing to him. He wouldn’t mind being a father one day. As much as his soft side shows through in his life, Hallowflight can be quite cunning. It might not show up much in his presence, but if anything were to threaten TempestClan, Hallowflight would put himself on the line to fight off any danger. As a thinker, he would be willing to use a weakness on VertigoClan if he ever thought it would defeat them in battle, territory, or anything else for that matter. No matter what happens, Hallowflight will always be loyal to his Clan. They are his family and he would die for them at any cost. Even if he would ever take on a mate, he knows in his heart that if he were to become deputy or even leader, then he would put have to put his Clan before his mate. He expects everything that he gives into his Clan to give back into him. He expects his leader to help the Clan and even to the smallest kit to help the Clan in some way. Disloyalty does not sit well with the Siamese tom. And yet, with all of this said, Hallowflight is quite wise for his age. He still has a lot to learn, but he always relies on other cats to give him criticism in any way. He wants to be the best version of himself that he could ever be.
familysister| wildpaw
brother| cloudpaw
cloudpaw died of greencough with his mother while wildpaw died of death berries to end her suffering in blackcough. Both died when Hallowflight and his siblings first became apprentices.
experienceWhen Hallowkit was awakened in the nursery, he was surprised to see what his world looked like. He found everything to be beautiful and amazing. He liked to find beauty in everything and his mother encouraged it. When his mother had him, it was her first litter as a queen. He was born with two siblings: a brother named Cloudkit and a sister named Wildkit.
As Hallowkit was initiated into Hallowpaw, he grew into his bushy pelt and became a skillful apprentice. Some cats however, called him names like “she-cat” and “milker” because he was dainty and thought everything was beautiful. His brother, Cloudpaw, called him cruel names and even made Hallowpaw out to be a joke. From this, Hallowpaw distanced himself from his brother and tried desperately to win him back by doing all the apprentice duties. Wildpaw started to drift away due to tension between her brothers, but she always remained loyal to Hallowpaw. One dreadful winter hit TempestClan hard and several cats came in contact with Greencough. Hallowpaw’s mother being one of the first cats to go. Hallowpaw and his siblings had to face the fact that she was gone while trying to maintain their own lives. Slowly, Cloudpaw and Wildpaw contracted Greencough too. As Cloudpaw was very ill, Hallowpaw went to see his brother in the medicine cat’s den. Cloudpaw still gave his brother snide comments when he entered, but Hallowpaw let him know that he never grew out of loving his brother and he hoped that one day he could prove to Cloudpaw how much a warrior he would be. Cloudpaw said nothing in response and went on to StarClan the next morning. Wildpaw was the last to go out of his family and it was the most painful thing Hallowpaw had ever had to watch. Wildpaw suffered through Greencough only to contract it even deeper in her system with Blackcough. Wildpaw’s sickness was torturous and Hallowpaw tried to see her anytime he had. It took so much of a toll on Hallowpaw that he went to his leader at the time and begged them to put Wildpaw out of her misery…and they did. TempestClan’s medicine cat gave Wildpaw death berries and sent Wildpaw to StarClan after moons of torture. This death has taken the biggest toll on Hallowflight and still to this day it’s hard for him to walk into the medicine cat den. He is reminded of losing cats so quickly.
When Hallowflight first became a warrior, it took several moons before his first apprentice, Oakpaw. He loved training him and was with his apprentice all the time. Eventually, death caught up to even little Oakpaw. They were out on a patrol and Oakpaw scented something and scouted on ahead despite Hallowflight’s orders. Hallowflight recognized the scent all too late and ran to find Oakpaw’s body on the ground and a fox running off into the woods. Oakpaw was smaller than the fox and in Hallowflight’s emotions, ran after the ginger animal. He hunted it and killed it in revenge, but wasn’t thinking clearly and easily could’ve put the Clan in danger. Hallowflight brought Oakpaw’s body back to the Clan and sat vigil with him all night. He hasn’t had an apprentice since then and he fears he will never get one for maybe he was not destined to keep an apprentice safe. Though, only Hallowflight blames himself and none of the other clan members blame him. He still thinks about his failure every day.
