reason for name Adder - sharp and sassy tongue that can "bite" like an adder. Tail - her abnormally long tail.
appearance descriptionAddertail is a solid black she cat with absolutely no white or any other colors on her body besides her eyes. She is very slender and smoothly built. Her frame is small, making her an excellent hunter who is both agile and quick on her paws. Because of this small frame, it is hard for her to fight with brute force and strength, therefore her muscles are toned and hidden beneath her pelt. Her fur is sleek and smooth, in most lighting appearing to be shiny and well kept. It is smooth to the touch. Her tail is longer than the average cat by only a couple inches, but it still stands out from the rest. Her ears are slightly rounded rather than pointy. And finally, her eyes are a light yellow or amber color that can appear gold in some lights.

personalityCompassionate - The first thing most cats notice about Addertail is her sweet and caring personality. She cares about everyone, no matter if they are knew or old friends. She is a good welcoming cat to the new life of the area.
Loyalty - Addertail is a fiercely loyal cat. She is bound to her Clan by not just her blood but her heart and soul as well. Loyalty is everything to this she cat, not just in the Clan, but within friendship and relationships as well.
Sassy - Addertail's sas-like attitude is the reason she has her name. If she doesn't like you, chances are she is not afraid to show it and you will get a mouthful of taunting and insults. She is not one to hide her feelings and she is going to let you know how she feels on the spot - whether there are other cats around or not.
Hunter - She loves hunting and she is a fantastic one at that. Because of her small build, she is quick and agile, making it easy for her to get around tight slopes and keep up with the fastest of prey - including rabbits!
Weak Strength - A down side to having such a small build is the fact that she lacks muscle mass. Because of this, she has had to come up with her own little techniques that make it easier for her to be in a fight without having to suffer or try to appear stronger than she is.
Patience - Addertail is a young cat, but for her age she has a strong sense of patience. She is good with the younger cats of the Clan because of this and tends to annoy some with how calm her nature can be. It takes a lot to stir up her anger, therefore when she's angry there's a good chance it's for good reason.
Hydrophobic - Ever since she had an incident with falling into the stream as a kitten and almost drowned, Addertail has a fear of being around the water. She is much more comfortable drinking from the mossballs that are brought to the nursery and likes to avoid actual water, including rain, as much as possible.
Thunder/Storms - A lot like her fear of water, this she cat hates the loud banging of thunder and the cracks of lightning. It's a pretty common fear, for fires and falling trees are very hazardous. But, again, it's something she has had her entire life and can't seem to get over.

experienceDeath of Nightpaw - When the two siblings were apprentices, they had ventured out of the camp to play in one of the streams and see if they could catch the fish. When the rain broke out, neither of them cared and they continued to play in the water. No one was aware they were out of the camp, therefore no one heard the squeals of terror when Nightpaw tumbled into the water and became caught in the current, quickened by the storm. Being the brave and determined apprentice she was, Adderpaw dived in after him, trying her best to catch up to her smaller brother, only to no avail. Both cats were tossed under the current and knocked unconscious. Adderpaw woke up on the shore a little ways down. She was okay, coughing up water and a little stunned, but okay. However, when she got to Nightpaw's body, the little tom was not breathing, and there was no chance of getting him back. Ever since that day, Adderpaw(tail) has had a large fear of the water.
